In addition to the full day cruise sailing experience, a 3 hour duration Short Sailing Trip provides the opportunity to sail on Albion either as a “taster” or where you may not be able to commit to a full day. Short Sailing Trips may be arranged at short notice during the sailing season (May to early September). These are sometimes advertised only within a fortnight of the date of sailing.
Just to let you know that we had a fantastic time yesterday on Albion. The Skipper did an excellent job. We bought plenty of souvenirs too.

There will be no more than 12 passengers on a trip. A qualified and experienced skipper and mate sail the boat, but we are very keen for people to participate as assistants to the crew. However, if you just want to sit on the deck and watch the Broads go by that’s fine.

The price for the 2026 season is £30 per person but SSTs departing in the morning (and some in Early and Late Season) are at an Early Bird Special Offer price of £24.99 per person. These prices include a fee charged by our provider FareHarbor.
The usual timings are 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm for morning and afternoon SSTs respectively (but there are variations in Early and Late Season for example) – the actual scheduled departure and return time is shown clearly when booking a specific trip.
Booking is open until 6pm on the day before departure – subject to availability of spaces.
