Day Cruise Sailing Experience

Albion has day cruises available on selected days in the summer months. These day cruises give the opportunity for individuals, couples or families who could not otherwise justify chartering the whole boat to have a trip on Albion. There will be no more than 12 passengers on a trip. A qualified and experienced skipper and mate sail the boat, but we are very keen for people to participate as assistants to the crew. However, if you just want to sit on the deck and watch the Broads go by that’s fine.

You will see lots of wildlife and being on Albion, an icon of the Broads, you will find yourself being constantly photographed and waved to. Albion, built in 1898, is a ‘black sailed trader’ and as original as we can keep her, so conditions on board are clean and functional but basic.

Sailing the Broads on Albion is a very enjoyable experience and a large number of our passengers are repeat bookings, so early booking is recommended. Several day cruises are being scheduled for the 2024 sailing season.

For further details prior to making a booking, please contact our Bookings Secretary via this enquiry form.

Unless otherwise stated costs are £45 per person –  a Trust member may be eligible for a discount, see here.

Or why not Charter Albion yourself for a day?  Details are on our Charters – More Information page.
